Konrad Pawlaszek drew inspiration from traditional Polish cutouts, their preparation techniques and symbolism, aimed at refreshing this handicraft and introducing it to the arena of contemporary art. His current works are heading in this direction, but the artist is still experimenting with paper as the main medium of communication.
